A fellow potter asked me what my favourite item to make is. I didn’t need to think too long as I always answer questions like this with ‘bowls’ every time and the bigger the better. My idea of bigger might be small to many but I always thing a serving bowl with room for 4 servings (at least), that can go in a dishwasher easily and can be carried comfortably to the table is the best size. The fun part for me as a potter is the glaze and design stage so you’ll never see any one that looks the same.
