Hello! My name is Bee Clinch and I’d like to tell you of my pottery journey. Back in the eighties I spent a lot of time enjoying the art of hand built pottery including coil and slab work, decorating with sgraffito and slipware. I have been lucky enough to re-purpose an old garage/cattle shed into a pottery studio based just outside Hythe, Kent and, as well as working hard to make the pots I love, you can catch me at regular pop-up galleries at 64 Old High Street Folkestone. I’ve now extended beyond hand-built pottery to wheel thrown ceramics which show the influence of Japanese ceramics that I have been privileged to buy and collect on successive visits to Japan.
This is my journey.
